Products Questions:

Question:

Wondering how much this stretches? Thinking of using it as the outer of a diaper with inner velour.

Answers:

  • It has only minimal stretch. A lot of people use that combo, but the velour has a lot more stretch than the heavy fleece.
  • It has some stretch, not a lot, but a few inches across the width.

Question:

Do you know exactly how this compares to the regular fleece in terms of number of layers for equivalent absorbency? Like2 layers of the heavy bamboo fleece absorbs as much as 3 layers of the regular or something? Or how many layers are recommended for each type of fabric to make a soaker?

Answers:

  • I would use 3 layers of regular fleece and only 2 layers of heavy fleece. The trouble you run into in the drying time. Bamboo is so absorbent and is very difficult to dry if you get too many layers.
  • I would recommend only 2 layers of heavy fleece for every 3 layers of regular fleece. This stuff is heavy, and if you get too many layers it will never dry.

Question:

When would this be back in stock?

Answers:

  • Sometime in mid October
